Turn creativity into a professional treatment with our Tiny Tattoo Course — designed to give you the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to create beautiful, delicate tattoos safely and professionally.

Whether you’re completely new to the industry or an experienced SPMU professional looking to expand your services, this blended learning course provides a training pathway suited to your existing experience. Complete beginners attend three days of practical training, while SPMU professionals with a minimum of six months’ industry experience attend a two-day programme.

Your online theory provides the essential underpinning knowledge before attending the academy, allowing your practical training days to focus on developing your technique and working confidently with tattoo equipment. You’ll learn how to create precise, small-scale designs, including fine lines, simple symbols, lettering and other minimalist tattoos.

Throughout the course, you’ll cover health and safety, infection prevention and control, anatomy and physiology, insurance and licensing, consultation, contraindications, equipment and needle selection, machine setup, stencil preparation and placement, design considerations, line work, depth and pressure, skin stretching, pigment application, treatment protocols and aftercare.

Practical training is an important part of this course, progressing from initial technique development through to working on live models provided by the academy. This gives you the opportunity to put your new skills into practice under the guidance and supervision of your tutor, helping you leave the course feeling confident and prepared to begin offering Tiny Tattoo treatments.

Upon successful completion of your training, you’ll receive your CPD Accredited Certificate.

Course Details:

Entry Requirements: Suitable for complete beginners. Experienced SPMU professionals may attend the shortened course with a minimum of 6 months’ active SPMU industry experience.

Course Duration: 3 days for complete beginners / 2 days for SPMU professionals with 6+ months’ experience

Study Method: Blended learning – online theory & practical in-academy training

Practical Training: Live models provided by the academy
